Copper Bear Shire

Originally established in 1825 on land that was once held by Meškwahki·aša·hina (Fox), our family has resettled this homestead adding our own touch of whimsy. Surrounded by native pollinator gardens and trails to get a closer look at these wildflower friends, we spend our days working the vegetable garden and orchard, harvesting herbs for tea and making salves, boiling a pot of natural dye, making syrup, washing and spinning wool, carving wood, and sitting on the porch playing music.
